Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 15, 2026
Welcome to the website of Dickson Family Pools & More (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, purchasing our products, or scheduling our pool sales and installation services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement to Terms
By visiting our site or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using this site or our services.
2. Scope of Services & Estimates
Dickson Family Pools & More specializes in the sales, delivery, and installation of vinyl, fiberglass, and above-ground pools across the Western Upstate region of South Carolina.
Project Estimates: Any pricing, timelines, or project scopes provided on this website or via preliminary digital communication are non-binding estimates. Final pricing and project obligations are strictly governed by a signed, written construction agreement.
Permits & Zoning: Unless explicitly stated in your physical contract, property owners are responsible for obtaining all necessary municipal permits, HOA approvals, and zoning variances required for pool installation.
3. Payments & Third-Party Financing
To help you build your backyard oasis, we offer access to third-party financing options.
Payment Schedules: Down payments, progress payments, and final balances are detailed in your individual project contract and must be paid according to the agreed-upon timeline.
Financing Disclaimer: All financing is processed, approved, and serviced by independent third-party lenders. Dickson Family Pools & More does not approve loans, set interest rates, or administer financing accounts, and we are not liable for any disputes arising between you and your chosen financial provider.
4. Site Access & Excavation Conditions
For pool installations, the customer must provide clear, unobstructed physical access to the construction site for heavy machinery.
Underground Hazards: Dickson Family Pools & More is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, private irrigation lines, septic systems, or buried debris not identified by the public utility locating service or the homeowner before excavation.
Restoration: Standard pool installation involves heavy equipment that will impact lawns, driveways, and landscaping. Unless specified in writing, site restoration, re-seeding, and landscaping repairs are the sole responsibility of the property owner.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South Carolina law, Dickson Family Pools & More, its officers, and its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, delay in construction due to weather or supply chain disruptions, or structural issues arising from ground shifting or soil conditions post-installation.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions must be filed in the appropriate court serving Greenwood County or Greenville County, South Carolina.
